Educational Projects

Ashteret aims to design and develop educational projects, driven by a strong conviction: spaces for transmission are essential levers for transforming narratives and preventing identity-based drifts.

We believe it is crucial to provide new generations with the keys to understanding the historical, cultural, and religious contexts of the Middle East, in order to move beyond oversimplifications, clichés, and hate speech.

Our actions take several complementary forms:

Interactive educational modules and programs to enhance knowledge of Middle Eastern cultures, as well as the historical, religious, and political contexts shaping the region.

Training for teachers, educators, and institutional actors, to equip them to address questions and issues they are often unfamiliar with.

Workshops on themes of identity, memory, tolerance, citizenship, and resistance to extremist discourses.

Innovative pedagogical tools to rethink the teaching of history, religions, cultures, and contemporary conflicts with rigor, openness, and critical thinking.
