In a world marked by fears, withdrawal, and divisions, we affirm a profound commitment to freedom, truth, and human dignity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Freedom of Thought<\/strong><br>We defend free, critical thought, liberated from political or religious dogmas. Faced with imposed discourses, we believe in the power of critical thinking, fertile doubt, and shared reflection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rigorous Dialogue<\/strong><br>Dialogue is not just a slogan: it is a method. It involves sincere listening, the confrontation of ideas, and respect for disagreements. We reject caricatures, binary positions, and fixed identities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Emancipatory Knowledge<\/strong><br>Knowledge is not a privilege: it is a lever for emancipation. Ashteret advocates for equitable access to knowledge, against disinformation, manipulative narratives, and organized ignorance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pluralism and Coexistence<\/strong><br>We recognize the diversity of beliefs, cultures, and narratives. This plurality is not a threat, but a richness. We work towards a coexistence based on recognition, not on condescending tolerance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Intellectual Courage<\/strong><br>In a climate where speech is often muzzled by fear or conformism, Ashteret chooses courage. The courage to say, write, and publish what is unsettling\u2014without provocation, but without compromise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Open Secularism<\/strong><br>We defend a secularism that protects freedoms, not one that stigmatizes. A secularism that adapts to contexts, particularly in the Arab world, while affirming the autonomy of thought from religious powers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Living Transmission<\/strong><br>Ashteret values memory, cultural and spiritual heritages\u2014but always in a living, open dynamic, turned towards the future. To transmit is also to question, revisit, reinvent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Active Hope<\/strong><br>We refuse fatalism and disenchantment. Even in a troubled world, we believe that a common future is possible.
