Ashteret is committed to producing and disseminating original content in Arabic, subtitled in French and English, designed for Arabic-speaking audiences in the Middle East, North Africa, and the diaspora.

In a space often saturated with radical, identitarian, or regressive discourses, it is crucial to offer a credible intellectual and spiritual alternative, rooted in local cultural realities while being open to the universal.

Our content—articles, opinion pieces, podcasts, videos, translations, interviews—aims to:

• Rehabilitate critical thinking in Arabic, in accessible yet rigorous language.
• Give voice to Arab intellectuals, thinkers, activists, and artists committed to freedom, dignity, and coexistence.
• Offer alternative interpretations of religious and cultural traditions, countering fundamentalist appropriations.
• Reconnect with the humanist, philosophical, and spiritual heritages of the Arab world, often marginalized or forgotten.
